Our company's roots date back to the 1940s as a service station and bulk distributor of gasoline and kerosene. Propane delivery operations were added in the 1950s, and our company became incorporated as Bob Loyd L.P. Gas Company in 1961. Fuel and propane delivery, fueling stations, and packaged lubricants have been and continue to be the mainstay of our company. Our company has been owned and managed by the Wheat family for many years, and in 2005, we changed our corporate name to Wheat Energy Services, Inc. to better reflect our identity and what we do.
