In 1942, National Gas Distributors, Inc opened it's doors in Knoxville Tennessee, as a family owned and operated propane gas business. Our first customers were construction workers at Oak Ridge, Tennessee during the construction of the Department of Energy's nuclear weapons plants. More than six decades later National Gas Distributors, Inc has become one of the leading propane companies in the region. Throughout this journey of tremendous growth National Gas's values have remained constant by serving their customers with quality products, technical expertise, and personal service. A key to the success of National Gas Distributors is it's supply, storage, and transportation network. National Gas operates it's own tank cars, transport trucks and storage terminal which helps to control cost and ensure supply.
