They began their business with a single delivery truck, 3 storage tanks and a small warehouse that served as their office, oil storage facility as well as a place to park the delivery truck. The first gallon ever delivered by King Oil to a heating customer only cost the customer $.27 per gallon. William and Kathleen steadily built the organization to what it is today with the help of their son Brian. The King companies now serve north central Indiana from 2 locations, Walton and Tipton, supplying a full line of petroleum products as well as propane for the residential, agricultural and commercial customer.
