Illini FS is proud of the many years of cooperative service in Champaign, Clark, Douglas, Edgar and Vermilion Counties. From our beginnings in 1927, we have grown to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers by adopting the latest technology and providing the newest products. This successful growth is a result of the vision that our founding fathers had in establishing a cooperative form of business with a strong foundation for longevity. This business structure has allowed the board and management to focus on the needs of our farmer owners over the past 85 years. In many ways, this cooperative is still in its infancy, soaking in the environment around it at a fast pace. In the same light, with a group of dedicated employees and a large investment in equipment, we are positioned to adapt to this constantly changing market with excellent service. Our cooperative business structure provides each of our farmerowners the ability to pool their resources and secure the supply of products and equipment needed in their farming operation at a fraction of the cost it would take to do it alone. As we move forward into the next 85 years, we at Illini FS will not forget our cooperative roots and will work diligently to serve our customers.
Farmers Union Oil Co. is a local farmers co-op that offers a variety of residential and commercial fuel services and agricultural services. We have a propane department, bulk fuel department, feed and seed department and agriculture fertilizer/ chemical department. We pride ourselves on friendly customer service and meeting the needs of our patrons.
